- Find out the views of our community
- Co-ordinate and express these views to the local and public authorities
- Act in the interests of our community
What do we do?
Campaign to maintain our heritage e.g. Bowling and Helenslea Basin
How do we make progress?
- Be proactive and consult the community e.g. Littlemill Development
- Encourage community spirit ; Gala Committee, Photographic Society
- Represent the whole community including young people, disabled people, lone parents and elderly people;
- Local police representatives attend all meetings
- Be familiar with West Dunbartonshire Council policies
- Keep the Council informed; attend Community Council Open Forum meetings
Where and when do we meet?
Third Tuesday of every month during September to June, except December (second Tuesday):
- Alternate meetings at Bowling Hall and Milton Inn
- Meetings start at 7.15pm and we aim to complete business by 9.00pm approximately.
Who can attend?
We welcome any resident from Bowling or Milton to attend our meetings. Please come.
